Brollup

Brollup is a Bitcoin-native rollup design, tailored for payments and smart contracts at scale. It utilizes Bitcoin block space for data availability and incorporates a state channel design with global state.

Brollup runs transactions on the Brollup Virtual Machine and incorporates a trustless Bitcoin peg that is enforceable on-chain and can be unilaterally redeemed at any time.

Brollup is in a category of its own, distinct from optimistic, ZKP, or sovereign rollups:
